The Challenge
The challenge was to make the website more user friendly and well customized using the advanced forms of Joomla and Virtuemart application softwares. Joomla is used to publish content on the web world. The Developers at Digital Intersect were asked to take their basic Joomla and VirtueMart setup and make it more user-friendly and easy to use for the administrators. They also required developing new customized modules within the current setup. So we had to take the core PHP and MySQL database files and make the changes within their Joomla framework to include many new features such as news & updates, front product sliders, page catching, news flashes, support for language internationalization and many more. Virtuemart is also an open source ecommerce solution developed as an extension of Joomla. The website needed a module which enables the client to look at their best. We had to make sure that our systematic enables the following;
