Gandhi’s brilliant spirit lives on in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Project, presented by the Charlotte Asian Heritage Association (CAHA), a branch of the Carolinas Asian-American Chamber of Commerce. A statue of the Mahatma is being constructed in India and will be placed on the corner of Tryon and 5th Street in Charlotte. Please join us for the dedication ceremony on Saturday, October 14, 2006.
